Springfield Prodigy Updates - Extra Front Cocking Serrations

I really like the overall aesthetics of the Springfield Prodigy 1911DS. I don't mind the rounded top of the slide or the fact that it's not a full length dust cover frame, but if I could change anything about the Prodigy it would be for it to have five front cocking serrations instead of four to match the rear serrations like my Race City Defense RC9c does, which is just my OCD preference.

I recently customized another Prodigy 1911DS to look similar to my RC9c, which included having extra front cocking serrations milled into the slide by DSC Gunworks. I liked the look of this so much that I sent several of my other Prodigy slides to DSCG to have extra front cocking serrations cut into them to further satisfy my OCD. After getting the slides back, I re-installed all of the Holosun 509T optics with C&H Precision optics plates, which fit tighter to the slide and positions the optic farther away from the ejection port. Of the three that got extra front serrations, my "Carry Comp" got the biggest makeover with a completely different color scheme and a purple anodized trigger from Red Dirt USA. It might actually be my new favorite Prodigy now! 😍
