At this USPSA Action Pistol Match at Shooter Ready Action Pistol Sports in Canyon, TX, I focused on being smooth and efficient instead of worrying about going as fast as possible. I've gotten so obsessed with speed lately that everything else has been secondary, and it hasn't been working out very well at matches. I know speed is very important at USPSA matches, but I believe being smooth, efficient, and not making any mistakes will translate into speed over time. Looking at the results from this match (placed 4th out of 13 total), I had the highest amount of "A zone" hits for the entire match, so my accuracy was pretty decent. 😎
